Brightsquid was founded in 2009 by a pediatric radiologist, a lawyer, and a leading lab executive.

Our motivation? We realized that the system was not set up to support efficient patient-centered, team-based care. Silos and fragmentation limit access to information and delay care. The old ways of doing things weren’t working with today’s demands on the healthcare community and the system was showing the strain.

We built Secure-Mail around common clinic workflows to connect the entire circle of care – including patients and their care-givers – in one place.

Rohit’s career as a senior executive spans more than 20 years with life science and technology companies in the USA and Canada. In that time he has repeatedly developed and executed business strategy to create scalable processes and exceed targets. Rohit’s legal background includes the use of technology for compliant communications.

Chris Carlson CIO

Chris brings over 20 years of project and product management to his role developing and implementing strategy. Serving in many senior roles, Chris has proven expertise in business model development and operational optimization. From 2009 to 2014, Chris managed patient data migration and clinical change management while implementing cloud-based Electronic Medical Record solutions across Alberta.

Jason Myers CFO

Jason brings a track record of strong results in senior financial positions at successful software and computer hardware companies. Formerly President of CoolIT Systems, a global leader in IT asset optimization and management, Jason’s experience and knowledge around international business development has helped Brightsquid expand more rapidly into new markets.
