In February 2023 the Canadian Government announced a historic $196.1 billion investment over the next decade to enhance Canada’s healthcare system and improve healthcare for Canadians. Included in the announcement was $46.2 billion allocated as new funding. Chiefly, this initiative places a significant emphasis on data integration and transparency to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes.
